It comes less than a month after 31-year-old Clare Mitchell was found dead in a hotel room in the same city, where she had visited on a four-day break.
Clare, who was studying accountancy at university, had arrived in the Moroccan coastal city a day earlier after flying in from Manchester.
She was described by her family as ‘the most unique person’ and ‘one of a kind’.
A fundraiser has been launched to bring her body home.
Her sister, Angel Davies wrote: ‘Hi, as most of you know my mum recently had the dreaded knock on the door from the police that no parent ever wishes to hear, that unfortunately Clare had passed away.
‘Mental health is the biggest killer it doesn’t care what you have who you are or what you have to look forward too and unfortunately now we have to plan the funeral of the tattooed diva, biggest drama queen and one of a kind most definitely’.
