‘This car is too slow!’ – Lewis Hamilton slams ‘broken’ Mercedes as Max Verstappen eases to victory at Chinese Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton was heard repeatedly complaining about his ‘slow’ and ‘broken’ Mercedes car as Max Verstappen strolled to victory at the Chinese Grand Prix.
The Dutchman secured his fourth win in five races this year in a race interrupted by two safety car periods, twice re-establishing a comfortable lead.
McLaren’s Lando Norris secured second place with Sergio Perez completing the podium in third.
Hamilton, who started the race in 18th after a disappointing qualifying run, secured ninth place on a day where the 39-year-old made his frustrations known.
